Dr Cloutier is a practicing vascular surgeon and is also the director of surgery at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. He obtained his General Surgery license at McMaster university, his Vascular license at McMaster and his advanced Endovascular surgery training at Stanford university.
Dr. Clouthier has a particular interest in minimally invasive endovascular and endovenous procedures.
He is a member in good standing with the Royal college of physicians and surgeons on Canada as well as the college of physicians and surgeons of Ontario. He is a member of many surgical societies including the Society for vascular surgery, the Canadian society for vascular surgery and the American vein and lymphatic society.
